ARAD. Certificate III in Dance

Charlotte commenced her dance training at The Academy of Classical Ballet at the age of 3 and has trained in Classical Ballet (RAD), Contemporary/Lyrical, Jazz and Acro.


Charlotte has completed 4 years in The Academy’s Intensive Training Program and will continue to complete her 5th year this year. As part of this program she has been given many lead roles in Academy performances such as ‘Young Clara’ in The Nutcracker performance (2019), ‘Good Girl’ in Graduation Ball (2021) and Shades Variation 1 Soloist in La Bayadere (2022), 'Clara' in The Nutcracker (2024)


Charlotte has presented for many annual Royal Academy of Dance examinations from Grade One to Grade Five including the Grade 8 Solo Performance Award. She has also completed vocational exams from Intermediate Foundation to Advanced Two attaining distinctions for all. She has also been the recipient on many occasions of The Academy's annual RAD Award for the highest examination result.


Charlotte has been dancing solo performances for 10 years at various dance eisteddfods both locally and regionally in various genres of dance. She has also been part of the Academy's troupe performance team for 11 years including performances at VDF ignite. Accolades includes many outstanding achievements such as the winner of the 2024 Jazz Championship at both Ballarat Dance Eisteddfod and Royal South Street Competition.


In 2023 Charlotte completed 6 months of ballet training with Glen Iris School of Dance in Melbourne with their part time program. Charlotte also completed the nationally accredited Certificate III in Dance attained through her training at The Academy of Classical Ballet.


In 2024 Charlotte was a part of Scimm Platforms Youth Company program where she travelled to Melbourne every Sunday for six months for a full day of dance and then took part in their performance in July, she will continue with this program at Scimm again in 2025!


Charlotte is Year 12 at Loreto College in 2025 and is looking forward to another fabulous year of sharing her passion and love for dance with the younger generation of students at The Academy.
