Lucinda began dancing at the age of five in Shepparton and has loved it ever since! She attended Daphne Learoyd School of Dance (Shepparton) from 2010-2011, Elenya Performing Arts School (Williamstown/Altona) from 2012-2020 and Melbourne Dance Xchange (MDX, Williamstown) from 2021-2023.
Throughout these thirteen years, she has trained in a variety of styles including Ballet (and Pointe), Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. Lucinda completed her Royal Academy of Dance examinations from Pre-primary to Intermediate, achieving merits, distinctions and high distinctions, and attended two Audrey Nicholls RAD Awards, receiving an encouragement award for her love of dance in 2014 from Amber Scott (Australian Ballet Company).
Whilst at Elenya Performing Arts Centre, Lucinda additionally attended Foxtel's Dance for Cancer Initiative from 2012-2016 and several competitions local to Western Melbourne.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Lucinda is hoping to work in a Physiotherapy career with dancers eventually. She thoroughly enjoyed being the assistant choreographer for a production of Shrek the Musical; Junior in 2022 where she helped in managing a group of students between grade 5 and grade 7, and is excited to continue to work with passionate and energetic young dancers here at The Academy of Classical Ballet!
